Participation Policy

This Policy applies to anyone who uses and communicates through the Discussion Channel.

This Policy is subject to revision and changes without notice. It is your responsibility to regularly check the Policy to ensure you are acting in accordance with it.

By using Discussion Channel, you agree to adhere to this Policy. If you diagree to adhere to this Policy, you should immediately cease to use the Discussion Channel and inform the Administrator (admin at tradersnetwork dot org) of your disagreement.

(1) RESPONSIBILITY OF POSTS & MESSAGES - Traders & Investors Network Organisation is not a licensed investment advisor and does not give financial advice. Traders & Investors Network Organisation, its owners, operators, associates and all related parties are under no circumstances responsible for the postings and messages by the forum participants. The postings do not reflect the views of Traders & Investors Network Organisation, its owners, operators, associates and all related parties, but that of the originators.

(2) ACCURACY OF MESSAGES - Traders & Investors Network Organisation does not vouch for or warrant the accuracy, completeness or usefulness of any message, and are not responsible for the contents of any message. Any information or ideas provided by participants at Traders & Investors  Network Organisation's website and its online forums have to be authenticated with authoritative sources.

(3) ALWAYS SEEK PROFESSIONAL ADVICE - Be aware of possible speculative comments (also known as "ramping") aimed at manipulating other investors. Posters may post overly-optimistic or pessimistic comments on particular stocks, in an attempt to influence other investors. (1) MONITORING & MODERATION - Considering the real-time nature of this communication facility, it is impossible for us to review messages or confirm the validity of information posted. Please remember that we do not actively monitor the contents of posted messages and are not responsible for any messages posted.

(2) OUR RIGHT TO RESTRICT ACCESS - Traders & Investors Network Organisation may at its sole discretion allow access to or exclude anybody from its online forums.

(3) COMPLAINT OF OBJECTIONABLE MESSAGE - Any user who feels that a posted message is objectionable is encouraged to contact us immediately by email: admin (at) tradersnetwork (dot) org. We have the ability to remove objectionable messages and we will make every effort to do so, within a reasonable time frame, if we determine that removal is necessary. This is a manual process, however, so please realize that we may not be able to remove or edit particular messages immediately.

(4) OUR RIGHT TO DELETE, CENSOR & PUBLISH - Although Traders & Investors Network Organisation does not and cannot review the messages posted and is not responsible for the content of any of these messages, we at Traders & Investors Network Organisation reserve the right to delete, censor or publish any message for any or no reason whatsoever. You remain solely responsible for the content of your messages, and you agree to indemnify and hold harmless Traders & Investors Network Organisation, its owners, operators and all associated parties, and their agents with respect to any claim based upon transmission of your message(s).

(5) OUR RIGHT TO DISCLOSE - We at Traders & Investors Network Organisation also reserve the right to reveal your identity (or whatever information we know about you) in the event of a complaint or legal action arising from any message posted by you.

(6) NO ABUSIVE & IRRESPONSIBLE POSTING - You agree, through your use of this service, that you will not use Traders & Investors Network Organisation's website and its online forums to post any material which is knowingly false and/or defamatory, inaccurate, abusive, vulgar, hateful, harassing, obscene, profane, sexually oriented, threatening, invasive of a person's privacy, or otherwise violative of any law. Do display basic courtesy and manners just as you would in a face-to-face public gathering.

(7) NO ADVERTISEMENTS & SPAMS - Please note that advertisements, chain letters, pyramid schemes, and solicitations are inappropriate and not allowed on Traders & Investors Network Organisation's website and its online forums. Please do not attempt to illegally advertise or promote your products, services, websites, and contact information via Traders & Investors Network Organisation's website and its online forums (no matter how subtly you make it!). We accept NO excuses (common excuses: "Oh it is free", "I thought it would help", "It's a personal/non-commercial website").

(8) RESPONSIBILITY OF USER - You agree to NEVER give your login detail to another person, contrary to which your membership will be terminated immediately without refund. You also agree to NEVER use another member's account to post messages or browse TradersNetwork.org. It is your responsibility to present clean and accurate information in your user profile. Please note that with each post, your IP address is recorded, in the event that you need to be banned from TradersNetwork.org or your ISP contacted.

It is also your responsibility to delete any Notifications that you have selected. Please delete your Notification selections BEFORE your trial or membership ends. We are not responsible for deleting what you have selected. An administrative fee will apply should you require us to delete the notifications that you have selected on your behalf after your access is blocked.

(9) NO CORPORATE & BUSINESS USER AND POSTINGS UNLESS AUTHORISED - No one is allowed to register using a corporate or business name or post under/relate to a business name unless specifically authorised by the TINO Administrator. We want to keep TINO Discussion Channel free of any corporate presence. A separate section for promotion and support of commercial products is currently being considered. [ PENALTY ]

(1) DE-REGISTRATION & BAN - Contravention on any of the above policies may, at Traders & Investors  Network Organisation's sole discretion, lead to your permanent and irrevisible banning from Traders & Investors Network Organisation's website and the termination of your membership without refund.

(2) DISCLOSURE OF IDENTITY - If a serious breach of law or regulation is committed, Traders Network & Investors Organisation may, at its sole discretion, disclose your identity to the appropriate authority for investigation and prosecution. Traders & Investors Network Organisation may also choose to disclose publicly your identity and your act of contravention at our website.
